Publicity Officer: Kaz Lazarowicz
The role of the publicity officer mainly includes preparing the advertising material for the society. It also includes promoting the society at the bunfight to encourage new members to join. The publicity officer is also required to organise the society’s annual show- Strictly Southampton!
Q: How long have you been dancing, what level are you now?
I’ve been part of the society for 3 years now, and dance at Novice level
Q: On a scale of 1-4, would you be able to help someone with a move or steps if they were stuck? 1 being fairly useless because you don’t know the steps yourself and 4 being a dance professional
Hmm with steps for ballroom a 3, latin a 1.5

Q: Do you manage to balance your degree alongside dancing well?
I think I do. I find exercise a good way to start the day. Plus 9am dance practice is an excuse to get out of bed and into uni

Bend those lovely knees and just have fun on the dance floor!
Q: What is your favourite/most entertaining memory with dancing with SUBLDS
The coach trip to Blackpool is always such good fun! We play games, listen to music and sing Disney at the top of our lungs
Q: What event do you most look forward to this year in SUBLDS?
This year I’ll be looking forward to Strictly and the Dinner Dance
