Q: How long have you been dancing and what level are you now?
This is my 4th year- I dance Advanced level
Q: On a scale of 1-4, would you be able to help someone with a move or steps if they were stuck? 1 being fairly useless because you don’t know the steps yourself and 4 being a dance professional
Ballroom 3.5, Latin 2 on a good day
Q: What is your vice of choice?
This is a really tricky one because if I have one I am not sure what it is
Q: What degree do you study?
PhD in web and internet science
Q: Do you manage to balance your degree alongside dancing well?
When I left for my first year of university I was told by a friend, that at uni you end up picking two of the three following things: friends, social life and enough sleep. Therefore as dancing is socialising, I do not get much sleep
Q: Give us your favourite dance top tip
“You’ll be amazed at how much two minutes of planking a day with revolutionize your dancing.”
Q: What is your favourite/most entertaining memory with dancing with SUBLDS
UEA 2016. So many events that were entered. A great fun day with a great group of people. Having said that or maybe the Bath ball in 2016. That to was a great and really fun event
Q: What event do you most look forward to this year in SUBLDS?
UEA, as a competition in previous years has been amazing with so many events to enter meaning that you spend so much time dancing. It’s a real test of endurance but great fun
Q: Why should people join the society? Give us your favourite reason
A chance to get to know some great people while also getting some physical and mental exercise in.
Fred and Ginger would like to thank the society’s secretary for his great answers.
